Headley's Fête

September 2018

Headley Village Fete will be held on Saturday 15th September and promises fun and entertainment for all the family.

The procession starts at 12.30 and local groups will be celebrating the end of WW1, women's suffrage success and 100 years of the Royal Air Force. The arena events include the ever-popular fun dog show, a fabulous falconry display and Sweep, the collie, rounding up his geese.

Local singers and bands will entertain with live music throughout the afternoon, whilst you enjoy refreshment at the beer tent. There will also be vintage vehicles on display, an assault course, bouncy castle and bungee trampoline, and plenty of stalls and sideshows and refreshments. There is even a chance to win a Glamping holiday weekend in the raffle, as well as other fantastic prizes.

If you would like to run a stall or sideshow or help on the day, please contact Rosemary on 712561 or email fetestalls@headley-village.com

If your band or singing group would like the opportunity to have 20/30 minute slot in the Beer Tent, please contact Dil Williamson-Smith

The Fête

Following a very successful Millennium Pageant and Fête, there was increasing demand to restart the Annual Village Fête. Headley Village Fête committee was formed in 2006. With grants from the local authorities and lots of local support and participateion from Village organisations and willing volunteers, the Headley Michaelmas Fête (now the Headley Autumn Fête) was restarted and has gone from strength to strength. The Fête is now held every other year and the next one will be held on Saturday 15th September 2018.

Headley Village Fête is sponsored by East Hampshire District Council and Headley Parish Council
