Footpath No.3 – From Bridleway 47 at Headley Wood Farm to Bridleway 54

This footpath can be used as part of a walk from Headley Village to Trottsford Farm, or as part of circular walks round Broxhead Common and Headley Wood Estate.  See Footpaths 1 and 2, Bridleways 47, 46 and 54.

Start at BW47 where it joins the track to Headley Wood Farm

If you face due north you will see the Footpath sign inside a gate and a notice saying “Headley Wood, Private”

The Footpath goes left (NW) for a few yards then right (N) up an incline through chestnut coppice ...
