The War Memorial is 'Listed’ as ‘Street Furniture’ Designed by Mr Woodbine Hinchcliffe of Pentlow, and unveiled on 4th July 1920 by Major General W.V. Brownlow CB of Eveley (now renamed Standford Grange).
There is also a marble tablet on the south wall at the back of the Church, unveiled on 26th September 1920. Public subscriptions raised more than enough money for both, and the surplus was used to establish the Hospital Car Fund, which is administered by the Parish Council.
